Dear Atkinson/Seddon/Seddon Atkinson enthusiast,

In 1994, Ken and Jill Honeybun founded the Classic Atkinson Club, and since then the club has grown, until today there is a membership of over 300 Atkinson enthusiasts from all over the country. The register of preserved Atkinson lorries lists around 500 vehicles, and additional ones still appear from time to time.

Following the sad and early death of Ken several years ago, Jill has carried on the Club on her own, but now has decided that the time has come for her to relinquish the Club reins to enable her to pursue other interests.

Not wishing to let all Jill and Ken’s hard work go to waste, an informal meeting was held at the Classic Truck Show at Malvern , to see if there was enough support to allow the club to continue in some form. There were around a dozen people at the meeting who were all in favour of keeping the club going, and it was suggested that the scope of the club should be widened so that membership should also be open to owners of Seddon vehicles and Seddon Atkinson vehicles.
